Powered by the OkapiBarcode engine, Wise Helix PrintDNA natively supports more than 50 barcode symbologies including Code 128, EAN, UPC, QR Code, Data Matrix, GS1-128, and many more. Human-readable text and quiet zone management are handled automatically, ensuring scan reliability across the supply chain.
Database-Driven Variable Data Printing
Wise Helix PrintDNA connects directly to databases via JDBC and text file sources, enabling schema introspection and seamless data merging for variable labels. A guided four-step Database Setup Wizard walks users through connection, authentication, and table selection, making it straightforward to set up batch printing workflows that pull live data into every label.
Lua Scripting for Advanced Automation
For organizations with complex labeling logic, Wise Helix PrintDNA includes a built-in Lua 5.1 scripting engine with a dedicated code editor. Scripts can respond to document events—such as OnOpen, OnSave, OnPrintJobStart, and OnNewRecord—enabling dynamic text generation, data transformations, and conditional formatting without external tooling.
Enterprise-Ready from Day One
Wise Helix PrintDNA is built for organizations of every size.
